HealthCentre TV is a website designed essentially to supplement the information provided to patients by their General Practitioner during a consultation. Your General Medical Practice is usually busy and time constrained, often leaving lots of questions unanswered.

HealthCentre.TV enables the General Practitioner to refer a patient to the site in order to pose and answer some or all of those questions. The information is provided through video presentations by highly qualified specialist practitioners and allied health professionals.

In many cases the video content is supported by textual comment which may be printed for future reference. to bring Health Information to all people involved with health including Doctors, Allied Health Professionals, Medical Students and the public at large.

Is HealthCentre.TV a substitute for a face-to-face consultation with your Doctor?

Unequivocally, no! There is no effective substitute for a personal consultation, however, HealthCentre.TV offers a unique and very accessible extra dimension to your Doctor’s advice without having to print out multiple pages of often difficult to understand text.

Does HealthCentre.TV provide any additional services?

HealthCentre.TV is also an invaluable resource for Medical Practitioners, Allied Health Professionals and Medical Students who may access special sections of the website via a unique registration.

The content of these special sections includes, for example, targeted specialist presentations and items of interest derived from seminars for continuing professional development.
